Emergency Room

Each year, approximately 10,000 patients are treated in our Emergency Room.  Full-time ER physician Jorge Abalos, D.O., is assisted by an experienced staff of nurses and technicians.  ER patients are screened in a triage room upon arrival.  Then they are seen in private rooms.  

AGH is prepared for any emergency.  If emergency air travel is necessary, the hospital has agreements to transport ER patients to a larger hospital if needed.
