New Family Practice Physician Accepting Patients

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Edwin McGroarty has joined the staff of Artesia General Hospital. Dr. McGroarty will be working with Memorial Family Practice and the Emergency Department. He has a strong interest in rural medicine because he feels that it allows him to do more for his patients.

Dr. McGroarty is a board certified family practitioner. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati Medical College and completed his family medicine residency at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn. After serving in both Afghanistan and Iraq, he served as staff physician and Senior Medical Officer at the Naval Branch Medical Clinic in Port Hueneme, California. Most recently, Dr. McGroarty worked as an emergency room physician at both Casa Grande Regional Medical Center in Casa Grande, Arizona and at Western Arizona Medical Center in Bullhead City, Arizona.
