Orthopedics

The Orthopedic Surgery Department at Artesia General Hospital delivers personalized, expert care to patients suffering from musculoskeletal disorders.   Our services cover a range of surgery options with particular specialties in sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, carpal tunnel surgery, fracture care and a variety of muscle and bone conditions.  Our fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Marshall Baca and Dr. Jerry Baggs, use the latest surgical techniques and advanced surgical procedures, including minimally-invasive techniques.

Our multidisciplinary approach, which links the expertise of our orthopedic specialist, in concert with a team from radiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy and orthopedic nursing strives to insure that each patient receives the most appropriate and responsive treatment.

We set high expectations for your recovery and tackle any challenge to restore your function and range of motion.  Our goal is to get you back to your favorite activities – where it’s walking, playing a professional sport or keeping up with your grandchildren.
