Mr.Tyk came to Artesia General Hospital in May of 2016 as the Chief Financial Officer. He has over 40 years of experience in hospital management ranging from University Hospitals to Critical Access facilities. Prior to arriving in Artesia, he was Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer at Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, CA.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Tyk received both his Bachelors and MBA from De Paul University. Robert and his wife Margy have three children and eight grandchildren. He is also a life-long Chicago Cubs fan.
Mrs. Jenkins is Board Certified in Healthlaw by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization, and is a member of the ABA’s Healthlaw Forum and the New Mexico State Bar’s Healthlaw Section Board of Directors. A Martindale Hubbell AV-Preeminent Rated Attorney, Mrs. Jenkins joined Artesia General Hospital in 2016. Prior to joining the hospital, for over 25 years, Mrs. Jenkins defended physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice lawsuits and provided healthlaw advice and counsel to numerous hospitals in New Mexico and West Texas. She was a member of the well regarded Roswell firm of Atwood, Malone, Turner, & Sabin, PA and, prior to her time in Roswell, practiced with Kemp Smith, PC in El Paso, Texas.
Mrs. Jenkins received her Doctor of Jurisprudence, with Honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas. She is also a Registered Nurse, having graduated, with Highest Honors, from New Mexico State University.
Currently, she services on the Board of Directors of both Cattle Baron Restaurants, Inc. and the Roswell Assurance Home Foundation.

With over 20 years of healthcare experience and remaining passionate about small rural hospitals and their ability to grow and be financially sound, Ms. Clark joined Artesia General Hospital after a move from Arkansas. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas holding a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance.
Ms. Clark has had a number of articles published in HFMA Publications, Salucro Healthcare Publications and presented nationally for Rural Health Association on Financial Counseling implementation. In addition, she has served as a consultant for Stroudwater and Associates as well as Trubridge in Revenue Cycle Management.
In her free time Shannon enjoys spending time with family and her dog Scout, gardening, and cooking.
Currently enrolled in a PhD program with degrees from the University of Phoenix and San Juan College of New Mexico, Mrs. Sellers joined Artesia General bringing over 33 years of executive and management leadership in healthcare operations. Above all she is committed to high quality outcomes for customers.
A member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and faculty positons with both Colorado Christian University and Pueblo Community College, her medical career spans from Care flight nurse, Emergency service manager, and trauma nurse. Prior to joining Artesia General Hospital, Ms. Sellers served as the Interim CEO after being promoted from the Chief Clinical Operations Officer with the Southwest Health Systems.
A history buff, Liz enjoys time outdoors hiking, camping and 4-wheeling with RZR’s when time allows.
